PRIME-LINE® S 4533 Counter Clockwise Lock

This 5-pin tumbler lock is constructed of die cast and comes with a nickel-plated face and dust cover. A security feature of this lock prevents the key from being removed when in the unlocked position, this feature prevents forgetting the key in the lock while at the same time ensuring the mailbox is locked every time. It includes a total of 5 zinc-plated steel cams, brass pins, a spring steel locking clip, a dust cover to protect the internal pins and springs from dust and moisture in exposed exterior conditions and 2 keys. To unlock this mailbox lock, the key must rotate 90 deg in a counter-clockwise direction. Mailbox locks like this one will not allow the user to remove the key until the mailbox has been closed and locked.
